See one of Chris Dent's incredible city landscape pieces and you'll find It no surprise that the artist hasn't had any trouble finding work since earning his Camberwell college BA in Illustration four years ago. His obvious patience when it comes to his work has dearly payed off as he produces one meticulously detailed masterpiece after another.  Most times he draws from photos he's taken or requested by a client; other pieces are mash-ups from various landscapes to create surreal space age cities that exhibit that this young artist not only has an uncanny ability to animate a landscape, but to be creative as well. His innate talent at capturing that vast bustling life of a cityscape makes these architectural drawing visually fascinating. Chris has said that he maintains the characters of his lines to avoid the work becoming too precise and geometrical by drawing with pen, as opposed to sketching first with pencil. He makes the kind of artwork that you just want to spend hours examining every last detail.
