TUNE TO HEAR pt 4
I caught these guys in a show back at the beginning of summer in Toronto and it was incredible! The LA based band consisting of mostly female members came out in a mix of tribal gear and urban bohemian into a set decorated with tiny plastic fruit. Trippy kaleidoscope images were projected on the walls of the humble stage area and the band began to play. Their sound has been described as drone, but I heard so much more when the group got into it. Tribal sounds, howling, spiritual dancing made the show practically a religious experience. I would highly suggest checking these guys out live, if not just check out some of their music such as the chill track "Touch You".
