TUNE TO HEAR pt 5
http://www.myspace.com/makeoutvideotape

Indie music duo Makeout Videotape are just two pizza- faced post teens from Toronto, but have managed to create a chill sound that caught my interest. The single "Heat Wave" perfectly embodies the sticky bustling summers in Toronto, also displayed in the music video. Their cover of the Harry Nilsson classic "I Guess the Lord Must Be in New York City" reminds me why modern bands even bother to cover old songs. Makeout Videotape may not be the coolest band I've seen, but theirs definately something endearing about them.
P.s. the lead singer sort of resembles Michael Cera

Makeout Videotape; Key tracks: Heat Wave, I Guess the Lord Must be in New York City
